DID YOU KNOW:
Needless to say, your heart is critical to your well-being and your safety!
The American Heart Association along with the White House have designated February as National Heart Month, and heart health could be a great discussion topic during your regular safety meetings. There are many long-term habits we can do to take care of our hearts such as having a healthy diet and enjoying regular exercise, but what do you do when more immediate heart care is needed, like during a cardiac emergency? Having an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and staff that is trained in its use as well as CPR could make all the difference. Both on the jobsite and off, AEDs have saved numerous lives and may be a piece of life-saving equipment to consider for your own jobsite. To get more information on AEDs, feel free to email us. You can also visit the American Heart Association for more tips and pointers on heart health to discuss with your team this month!
